Amber Crowley is one of many direct support professionals across the country who support people in their homes and community. Nearly two million Americans hold these types of support professions. These well respected professionals are dedicated to making sure individuals and their families are able to remain independent at home and in the community. Amber belongs to the 15,000 hour club in our appreciation program and has worked with Consumer Direct Care Network Wisconsin since 2009. When asked what it means to be a direct support professional, Amber said, “There is no greater accomplishment in life than helping the life of another and seeking out their individual abilities to accomplish independent life skills that will carry them for the rest of their lives. I focus on what an individual can do, rather than what they can’t do. I strive to meet their goals!” We are thankful for Amber’s excellent service. Thank you Amber!
