Starting May 1, 2023, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) will begin imposing consequences for failure to capture required shift information using Electronic Visit Verification (EVV). The beginning of these consequences is known as the EVV hard launch.
After the hard launch, caregivers must use EVV to capture the following information for each shift.
- Who received service
- Who provided service
- What service was provided
- Where service was provided
- Date of service
- Time in and out
To help you prepare for the EVV hard launch, DHS is hosting an online EVV hard launch forum on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 1-3pm CST. This forum is open to the public and free to attend.
