To kick off the 25th anniversary celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the ADA Legacy Bus Tour made stops in Milwaukee, WI and Madison, WI. As volunteers, Erin Dollar and Emily Steele-Campbell, enjoyed the celebration in Madison which included a display on the history of self-advocacy, displays on the Road to Freedom Tour and the ADA Legacy Program, an effort to preserve and educate about disability history, several speakers who shared the efforts made to support the ADA throughout the community by state and local governments, and some delicious cake. Many advocacy groups and community members came out to join the celebration!
