The Collaborative Stabilization Coalition (CSC) of Dane County, through funding from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, is hosting a free training series for direct care workers who assist individuals with dementia or intellectual/developmental disabilities.

The training series covers the following topics:

  • Trauma’s Influence on the Brain, Body, and Behavior
  • Power and Control/Client Rights and Limitations and Resources
  • Managing Threatening Confrontations/Sensory Regulation and Self-Care

For your convenience, each training is offered several times throughout the year. You can sign up to attend one or all the trainings.
