When to Get Tested for COVID-19

Types of COVID-19 Tests
COVID-19 tests tell you if you are infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. There are two types of viral tests – rapid tests and laboratory tests. Laboratory tests usually provide results in a few days. Rapid tests usually provide results in 15-30 minutes.
